Wireless and Wired Mode 

An excellent solution for multitasking. You can wirelessly connect the K8 Pro with up to 3 devices via its stable Broadcom Bluetooth 5.1 for seamless multitasking across your laptop, phone, and tablet. Switch among them swiftly, and it's fully compatible with both Mac and Windows. A reliable USB Type-C wired connection is also available when you need it.    

Upgraded Typing Experience

The K8 Pro has been re-engineered and redesigned from the inside out to upgrade the typing experience. The added sound-absorbing foam, a thick silicone dampening bottom pad, and steel plate provide responsive feedback and a peaceful typing sound, while added weight will enhance the stability.

OSA Double-Shot PBT Keycaps

To further fine-tune your typing experience, the K8 Pro comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use on the timeless tenkeyless layout.

Hot-Swappable PCB

The K8 Pro hot-swappable PCB allows you to easily swap out switches without disassembly and de-soldering, so you can use your favorite switches or try out new switches without the risk of damaging the keyboard. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

Gateron Screw-In PCB Stabilizers

The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easy for changes and upgrades. More precise craftsmanship makes the silver-plated stabilizers more stable and less wobbly. The big keys’ (space bar, shift, enter, delete) typing experience is more stable and smooth, and rattling is significantly reduced. The K8 Pro also supports third-party stabilizers, including Cherry or Durock. 

Sound Absorbing Foam

The K8 Pro features a sound-absorbing form that reduces vibration and drastically improves sound signature. 

Silicone Acoustic Pad

The K8 Pro features a silicone pad between the PCB and bottom cases to significantly reduce the sound resonance between the metals and reduce the noise of the impacted metals.

Mac OS and Windows Support

Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, Keychron K8 Pro comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. It also allows you to save two different layouts in the keyboard, one for each system.  

QMK and VIA Support

If customizing the looks and feel of your K8 Pro is not custom enough, with full QMK and VIA support, you can program and remap each key on the keyboard with ease. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more. 

Pre-Lubed Gateron G Pro Switches (Fully Assembled Version Only)

By optimizing the switch mold, the G Pro switch wobbles less than a standard mechanical switch and feels smoother on each hit. Plus, the factory pre-lubed process on all the G Pro switches (exclude the clicky ones), no doubt this will ensure the best smoothness at your fingertips when typing. Available in Red (Linear), and Brown (Tactile).
