Everything checks out! Ready to proceed with purchase order.
Deskpads: We received a new round of samples because our deskpad factory upgraded their printing machines. All is good. Approved for Mass production.

Round 4 samples

2025-12

Posters arrived (small colour correction needed). Too much saturation.
Deskpads are complete. Holding off golden sample approval until keycaps arrive in case of colour adjustments.

Round 3 samples (keycaps)

2025-11

Colours are very close. Just need some minor adjustments. Overall framework for designs has been finalized. Just a couple keycaps need adjustment.

Second round samples received

2025-10

Improvements on deskpads. Not far off. Should only be one round away from approval. Designs have been selected so we can move onto prints to be included.
Keycap samples are much better but still need tweeking. We are experiencing registration issues so we need the designer to build a layer for the factory to use to keep everything aligned. We have made the decision to move on from our old vendor and go with a new smaller factory who has proven much easier to work with.

Out of 12 deskpad designs there are a few we really like and just need minor tweeks to design and colour correction
6 Keycap sets arrived from two vendors. Major issues from both vendors (colour accuracy needs substantial work). Some challenges lay ahead of us in order to make keycap sets cohesive across the line.

Conceptual stage complete

Target: 3 deskpads with matching prints, 2 keycap sets
Artwork gives way for balance between loud and understated. Room to make artwork cohesive across the line with varying degrees of texture.

Artist agreement secured

Artist agreement secured, Mauro Jaurena, Design Syndrome. Graphic artist, designer with raw talent in digital art. Abstract, emotional, human.

Inspiration

Brutalism, acid graphics, geometric chaos, space age propoganda, scientific blueprints, half tones, typography, op art. Balance between LOUD and understated.
